Termination of Strong wind warning for Rodrigues issued at  22h00 on Monday 31 August 2026.


With the strong anticyclone moving further away towards the South East of Mascarenes, the wind has weakened considerably over the region.

Hence, the strong wind warning is being waived for Rodrigues. 

The public is advised to consult the regular bulletins of the Mauritius Meteorological Services.

Fin de l'Avertissement de vents forts pour Rodrigues émis à 22h00 ce lundi 31 aout 2026.

Avec le fort anticyclone s’éloignant davantage vers le sud-est des Mascareignes, le vent s'est affaibli considérablement sur la région.

De ce fait, l'avertissement de vents forts a été levé à Rodrigues.

Le public est conseillé de consulter les bulletins réguliers des services météorologiques de Maurice.
